My Approach

I provide sessions to individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning difficulties, work/life balance challenges, career transition and career indecision.

Initially, we will meet and discuss how to help you move forward. Each client comes to session with their stories of successes and challenges. Together we will develop a plan that will be specifically tailored for you.

I utilize a strength-based perspective. Sessions are collaborative and together we will strive to identify and integrate your strengths, interests, values, and motivation for a life filled with purpose. Additionally, we will work to uncover and articulate the struggles you experience. Identifying these difficulties and working through the barriers can be hard at times. Working together with someone you trust can help you discover solutions to move in the direction of getting you unstuck.

What Makes My Career Counseling Approach Unique

I utilize a dual perspective. With over 20 years of experience in human resources management, I understood the employment issues and struggles that impacted my employee’s lives.

My goal as your therapist/counselor is to integrate my intimate HR knowledge of what employers want from an applicant, with my clinical training of supporting you in breaking through the barriers that are preventing you from moving forward in your life.

I will partner with you to demystify the employment process; support you in managing anxiety and building confidence; work alongside you as you move toward greater satisfaction and overall success both personally and professionally.
